Question

Sometimes non-intended actions disappear after undoing

I try to undo certain amount of actions, and then after doing it a few times sometimes the action that I was not trying to undo gets "broken" (idk how else to describe it), it's technically there in the history column, but it doesn't show on the canvas. I did not press any buttons by mistake or toggled anything. Is it just a glitch? It happened several times already...

Decided to add a screenshot, so you can see yourself that there is a brush action there (it should be a pink circle) but it doesn't show.

Sorry for posting it again, but I still haven't found the solution to the problem...

After using "undo" command (cmd+z) one of the actions just stops showing, I dunnow how to explain it in a simple way so instead gonna give an example: I draw a circle and then I try to draw another circle, I can't draw a circle that I want so I repeatedly use "undo" command, and after several dozen attempts (sometimes more) the first circle just stops showing, the action of drawing it stays in history, but the circle itself is not on the canvas anymore...

I'm drawing on XP-Pen pro 15,6 already contacted their support, they offered a few solutions but none helped, and they said if nothing works then it's PS's problem.

Anyone has any ideas what could it be?

You may need to reset your preferences which often fixes "strange, unexpected behaviour in Photoshop that is not user error related", but before doing that, it might be wise to backup actions and other settings.

Hi, thanks for the answer, tried resetting it, this glitch happened again. I'm using photoshop with XP-Pen tablet and undoing my actions with buttons on the tablet, but I mean it's unlikely that the tablet affects the software right?
