Stuck on Hand Tool

Question

My cursor is stuck on the hand tool. I have Photoshop 26.9 and Mac 15.6, so I think I'm pretty much up to date. How do I recover use of my other tools?

Thanks. Nice cat Picture. My solution ws to reboot the computer and start over. Fixed the problem. None of the other suggestions I found helped, by the way. (My keyboard and mouse are hard-wired t6o my mini Mac 4.)

Restart PhotoshopRestart your MacReset PreferencesOpen Photoshop while holding down the Shift key (to force it to open without third party plug-ins and extensions).Do you have pointing hardware other than a mouse?  Move it away, or turn it off.Is this a MacBook, and if yes, are you using the standard keyboard?If a desktop Mac, then what keyboard are you using, how does it connect, is it fully charged, do you have other hardware near by that uses a similar frequency if wireless?  i.e. printer, phone.Have you recently poured a quantity of gooie liquid onto your keyboard?  Glutton-free smoothies are particularly bad.Is your cat sitting on your keyboard?  We get this a lot.
