Stylus not working in the canvas itself

I bought a Lenovo tab P12 in order to better work in PS. However, the stylus refuses to work in the canvas itself. It does work perfectly to select whatever you want from the rest of the tools and menus in Photoshop, but all the point of the stylus and of this purchase I made is to use a stylus for fine delicate selections and drawing in the canvas... Someone has any idea of how to solve this issue? 
The tablet is connected and sincronized as a second screen for my laptop (windows 11). I have Photoshop version 26.9...
