Question

Sub-Windows appearing on wrong screen

I work on a Mac and Eizo monitor. I have photoshop open on the Eizo and everytime I open a sub-window (i.e Curves) within the program the pop up goes back to my mac screen even if I drag it to the Eizo and close it on there. This is a new issue and has happened since I updated to Photoshop 2026. Wondering if anyone is encountering the same issue and has a workaround or fix?

Thanks

Hi @lifeafterbekk, thanks so much for reaching out!
You might want to check your macOS settings and make sure your preferred monitor is set as the primary one.
If that doesn’t fix it, another option is to reset your Photoshop preferences. Just a quick heads-up: this will remove custom brushes, workspaces, and other personalized settings. You can follow the steps here: https://adobe.ly/4obBn1C
Let me know how it goes!

@Aleke Thank you soo much! I thought my monitor was set to my primary display but for some reason it was 'extended display' it works now. Thanks again 🙂
