Super Resolution missing in Camera Raw Filter 18.7 + upscaling for 24x36 in print

Hi,

1. In Filter > Camera Raw Filter, the Enhance / Super Resolution option is missing. Ctrl+Shift+D and right-click do nothing, and the "..." menu does not show Enhance either. Is this option not available in the filter version, or is something wrong on my side?

2. I have a portrait image of 1023 x 1538 px (72 PPI). I need to print it at 24 x 36 inches at 300 PPI (7200 x 10800 px) on a UV flatbed printer. What is the best workflow in Photoshop to upscale it while keeping the face and fine details intact?

Thank you.

Sounds like this isn’t a raw file? You need to use the full Camera Raw processor (not the Camera Raw filter) on raw mosaic data straight from a camera sensor. It does not work for RGB files like jpeg/TIFF/PSD etc.

In addition, you do not need 300 ppi for this print size. The larger the print, the farther away it will naturally be seen from, so ppi requirements drop rapidly. In this case, 100-120 ppi will look perfectly sharp and crisp. 300 ppi is for book and magazine print to be seen from less than arm’s length.
