Question

switching from the eraser, back to same brush i was using

I chosed a custom brushed that is different from the default round brush, in order to draw. I like to switch between the eraser and the brush in order to like, draw things like I ever did. But since recently, when I switch back to the brush, it goes back to the default round basic brush. Which means I have to reselect the custom brush everytime I erase something. This never happened before, it must be the new "up"-date working its magic...

Anyone got a solution for this? Thankssss

Are you using Spring Loaded shortcuts to switch between the brush and earaser tools?

What version of macOS and photoshop are you using?

How are you switching between the Brush and Eraser Tools?

One thing you may not be aware of is when your using the Brush Tool you can erase without having to switch to the Eraser Tool by pressing the ~ (tilde) key, do your erasing then release the ~ (tilde) key to go back to painting.

Hey Jeff, thanks for you answer. Thanks for the tip about switching, good to know! my version is 24.7.3

however I still need sometimes to change tools, and I would love to find a way to find the parameters the way I parametered them when I get back to the same tool.

is there a way to do this?
