THANK YOU! Wow! Photoshop 26.2 WOW! I Am At a Loss For Words (Almost!)

Today I realized how many times I have come to the Adobe Community to find answers, or whine, or look for more answers. Yeah, I am one of those people who procceses thoughts verbally, so I ramble and am really quick to look for answers when I don't immediately figure something out.

This time I came here to give the Addobe Team and all the tireless volunteers here a HUGE THANK YOU! I just updated to 26.2 and am dazzled and thrilled at what I see. When I first used Photoshop in 1996 I never dreamed what would be possible and SO quickly! Thank you for the unimaginable hours of work, stress, beating your heads against proverbial brick walls and mostly, THANK YOU for hanging in there to create such mind-blowing tools for us to use!  It is humbling to realize how much goes into each update and many of us (I admit it, I am one) are so quick to whine when our Preferences have to be be tweaked.

While I am NOT swearing I will never whine, complain or gripe about anything on here again, I DO promise I will reread this post before I start typing and hit send.

Thank you Photoshop for creating life-changing tools for us to use. Now, if y'all could just get that neural implant finished so we could think it and not have to click or tap or scroll ever-again!

Feeling GRATEFUL and EXCITED!

What nonsense. Nothing is working as promised in the tutorials, and an updated manual for version 26.2 is not available.

@kees_6704    '...Nothing is working as promised in the tutorials...'

Unfortunately your post, tagged onto another thread, is an example of the vagueness I referred to above and from which nothing will happen. If you are experiencing specific issues, and it sounds like you are, then please raise them in a new thread, giving details, and we will try and help.

Updates to the documentation do tend to follow later than the updates, on that we agree.

Thanks for the positive post Kathy.

It is OK, and fully understandable, to gripe now and then. We all want the same thing, which is applications that can be relied on in our daily work. When those applications stop working as intended, it is natural to get frustrated.

If I may use your thread to make a small request of others encountering issues, it would be to say that the volunteers here can often help provided the problem raised is specific and accompanied by system information and the steps that have been taken so far.  If we can't resolve an issue, but can replicate it then it helps Adobe's developers to identify and resolve the cause. Unfortunately, we can do very little with vague 'rants' aside from sympathising, and nor can Adobe's developers.

Enjoy Photoshop, and thanks again for posting.
