Question

The ADP Pro v3 extension could not be loaded because it was not properly signed.

My ADP Pro v3 extension couldn't be loaded by Photoshop 2023 24.0.1 on macOS Monterey 12.5.1 (non-M chip). The error message is "The ADP Pro v3 extension could not be loaded because it was not properly signed.". I have followed the Adobe instruction at https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/extension-not-properly-signed.html#reinstall-extensions (uninstall and reinstall PS and the extension) but the issue remains. Please help.

Thanks!

  Fix on Windows
  • Close Adobe Photoshop completely.
  • Open the Registry Editor by typing regedit in the Windows taskbar search and pressing Enter.
  • Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Adobe.
  • Look for the CSXS folders (such as CSXS.10, CSXS.11, or the folder matching your specific Photoshop/Creative Cloud version). If you don't see one for your version, right-click the Adobe folder, select New > Key, and name it for your version (e.g., CSXS.11).
  • Select the version folder, right-click in the empty space on the right, and choose New > String Value.
  • Name the new value PlayerDebugMode (case-sensitive, no spaces).
  • Double-click PlayerDebugMode, change its Value data to 1, and click OK.
  • Reopen Photoshop and load your extension.
Fix on Mac
  • Close Adobe Photoshop completely.
  • Open the Terminal app.
  • Type or paste the following command and press Enter to enable debug mode for your CEP version (replace 11 with your specific CSXS/CEP version number if needed):
    defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.11 PlayerDebugMode 1
  • Reopen Photoshop and check your extension panels.

Nice AI  on Google told me this.

I have same problem but same error message in Photoshop 2022. I think its a Monterey problem. Frannk is there an update to plugin ADP v3? I can't see one.

If uninstall and reinstall of the individual extension doesn't fix it, there's another unsigned extension in the directory. So remove all extensions from that folder, then just install ADP Pro. If it works, then re-add the others one by one until you find the offending un-signed extension.

Thanks, Jeffery!
I did what you said, removed the all extensions. I also reinstalled photoshop and only put ADP Pro extension in the extensions directory. Unfortunately I received the same error message. Any suggestions?
Appreciate your help!

It is necessary to copy and paste into the plugins folder. Unfortunately, I lost mine due to my computer crashing, and now I cannot retrieve it as the website has been closed and no downloads are available anymore.
