The crashes are driving me crazy
The frequency of crashes that I experience in Photoshop is ridiculous. There are hours where I get nothing done, it’s that bad.
The build -
Intel i9-14900ks processor
Asus dark hero z790 motherboard
Geforce 3080ti Graphics Card
32gb on 2 sticks dominator platinum ram
Ryujin 3 water cooler
Things on computer I have tried and did not help -
Running 1 stick of ram vs the 2
Reseating Ram
Reseat Graphics Card
uninstall graphics drivers and reinstall
complete reinstall of windows 11
Updated motherboard to newest bios
Things in software I have tried and did not help -
Lowered history states from 50 to 30
Cache levels from 4 to 2, then back to 2, then to 6
Cache Tile size up to 1024k (Had a crash right now just clicking on the down arrow to check the previous cache tile sizes I used) → up from 124k
Unchecked use graphics card
For the drivers I set the 3080ti to only show and never use the motherboards intel chip
When do the crashes happen?
Immediately opening a file
Using the Eraser Tool
Using the Pen Tool
Opening the File tab
Moving the Mouse
Not doing anything
Living
Breathing
Making Dinner
No errors, no warnings, can’t open up back to where I was, completely shut down and anything I didn’t save is lost
For the love of God help me
