The generative AI background changes subject repeated.y

My company designs and makes unique ceramic vessels for upscale interiors.  I have used Photoshop's ability to generate appropriate backgrounds of our work, but recently, the performance has become severely degraded.  I have tried all the approaches I can think of in the prompts, but nothing helps.  Why is the software getting worse rather than better over time?  Any suggestionss?

Three recent examples attached (there were about 15 more similar results all with either significantly varying or only modestly varying prompts.  Here's the prompt that produced "_2_attempt_a.pdf": "Place this 17" high ceramic vessel on a fine table in the lobby of an upscale country inn. Insure a perspective that does not require you changing the vessel".

Hi @William34952457mmzb

We’re really sorry to hear about the issues you’ve been experiencing. Generative AI is an evolving technology, and while it continues to improve, it can sometimes produce results that are inconsistent or unexpected, depending on the prompt and context.

I’ve shared your feedback with the Product team so they can take it into consideration as they work on further refinements. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience—it helps us make the tool better for everyone.

I have been playing with generative AI background and have found that the resolution of my subject (usually a person) is reduced.

The generated backgrounds are generally nice and very usable but the face of the person has become grainy.

Is this normal?

SdeGat, I gave up on Photoshop for this purpose and have been using OpenArt.ai.

Srishti Bali, thank you for your reply.  I note that you say AI "can sometimes produce results that are inconsistent or unexpected, depending on the prompt and context".  Are you suggesting that there is a clearer way of saying in the prompt, "do not change the subject"?  I do not mean to be insolent; I'm sincere: is there some trick phrase that one can use to insure the subject is not changed.  Or is this all really a problem of "context"?

I don’t know any specific tricks at the moment, it's mostly hit and trial for me. I could try adding reference images that match the style and composition we're aiming for to guide the outcome better.
