This bug just happened very recently for me. Other features may be missing but I am not sure.
I am using the latest chrome on android (Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra) with keyboard and mouse.
Some help or information would be useful. Thanks.

Yes I did…read the title of the post. And read my reply to Jane-e.
Photoshop for the WEB does not include the Magic Wand. Yet it’s referenced
in the built in tutorials in Photoshop for the WEB. It would be helpful if
those tutorials are updated when major revisions are made.

I had read the title, and the reply to Jane. We know you are using Photoshop for the Web but wanted confirmation of which tutorial you are referring to and that it was a tutorial for the Web version, which you have now confirmed. When you provide a link to the tutorial with the issue, I can take it further for you.

Can confirmm this is still an issue. Makes the web version entirely useless for my workflow, as I rely on the wand tool. Great job, Adobe.

Please make sure tutorials are up to date with the product. For example, several tutorials reference the Magic Wand...which no longer exists.

The magic wand does indeed exist, I've used it numerous times today.

I want to submit feedback to Adobe about the removal of the magic wand tool from Photoshop for web, but I am only finding the option to post it to the community discussion. Is this accomplishing anything?

The object selection tool is not an acceptable replacement. I need to select a narrow feature (1px width) that consists of only the exact same color on a map for editing. This should be a one-click operation with the magic wand tool set to Contiguous. Am I missing a tool setting or something somewhere that would accomplish the same task?

I need to do this on a workstation I cannot install software on due to work policy, so Photoshop desktop is unfortunately not an option. The magic wand provides such a basic and useful capability. From a user's perspective, it seems ridiculous to remove it.

(Sorry if this should be posted somewhere else instead)

Hey, @connolec. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll help you figure this out.

This is a recent change, and the Magic Wand tool isn't available on Photoshop Web anymore. You can use the Quick Selection tool, which is also really fast.

Thanks!
