Question

The problem is, Photoshop is eating up an incredible amount of memory while doing nothing.

I have a problem that can't be solved. It's just a memory hog, and Photoshop freezes. I've applied a patch 2-3 times, and it freezes. It keeps hogging memory and doesn't respond, only the reset button on the case.

I switched back to version 26.5, it's almost bug-free, and I have 22.2 installed at the same time, which is STABLE, but it's missing a couple of tools. As a result, I use 22.2 about 85% of the time, and only for the sake of new tools: save the file, close 22.2, open it in 26.5, do a couple of manipulations, save, return to 22.2 and work
