Time line not appearing

Good day!

I was creating a file for an animation and when I when to window and selected time line, I noticed that the purple like that represented the time line did not appear. Then when I try to select the option to set the rate of the time line it appeared desable.

Why is this happening?

Can you help?

You want to create a video or GIF animation?

Click on the arrow next to Create Video Timeline and select Create Frame Animation to begin creating an animation, or choose Create Video Timeline to start making a video.

Marcella, what version of Ps are you running? I see items on my screen that you don't have, and vice versa.

Refer to my screenshot of Ps v26.2. The arrow points to an iten your screen is missing; clicking it will display the blue (on my screen) video timeline. Alternate method: click on "hamburger on upper-right of the timeline.
