Question

Timelapse layer doesn`t resize

When I import a series of pictures into Ps to create a Timelapse and then after resizing the document format I try to resize the images layer, Ps creates a Smart Object and when I try to pull the corners of the image to resize to desired format it gets me out of that resizing tool and I can`t do it no matter what corner or method. Any suggestions on this? Thanks in advance.

Hey, @Brighila3821007694nq. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll need more information to help you figure this out. Please share a video & screenshots of the issue and the system info from Photoshop Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here.

Does it behave as mentioned after a specific set of steps? What troubleshooting steps have you tried already?

Also, please test and confirm if the issue exists with Photoshop (Beta). You can get Photoshop (beta) from the Creative Cloud > Apps tab > Beta Apps section.

Thanks!

Hi Sameer, thank you for your answer. Unfortunately I can`t send you video, I don`t have apps to record my screen. The steps I do are the following:

- import image sequence (300 images) for a timelapse video

- resize the document using canvas size

- resulting background will be smaller than the original image layer so I have to resize the timelapse layer

- Ctrl+T for resize, it asks me to transform the layer to a Smart Object which I do

- I click on one  of the corners  and drag them to make it smaller so it fits the resizing applied before in order to see the whole image

- that moment the edges dissapear, the resizing tool deactivates automatically and if I try Ctrl+T again and again it does the same. It doesn`t let me resize the image layer.

I don`t use beta version. Attached you will find the system info and a printscreen withe the last step in which Ps doesn`t resize.

Thank you,

Alex
