Tool bar - changing type from white to black

Hi Team. Somehow my toolbar letters have changed from black to white - I have searched but cannot find the answer to turning them back to black...

 

Frustrating!

    What version macOS are you using?

     

    Under Apple>System Settings>Appearance do you have Light, Dark or Auto selected?

     

    The Wallpaper you have selected can also make a diiference and if you have Dynamic selected as well.

    Apple>System Settings>Wallpaper

      Thank you for your reply Jeff. Apologies for my late reply.  I have managed to get my icon bar back but can't remeber how I did it!! I will be 80yrs this year and I'm losing some marbles. The Community has always been a great help.
