Hi @drahomr_1722,

Thanks for sharing these details. Based on the information provided, we tried to reproduce the issue but were unable to do so. To escalate it to product team, we need the exact workflow. Could you please record a short video demonstrating the issue and share it here? You can follow the steps outlined in this guide: https://adobe.ly/49k5KOZ

If you are not comfortable sharing it here, you can send it via DM as well by clicking on my name.

Additionally, please try installing the beta app and check if the issue occurs there as well. You can follow the instructions here (https://adobe.ly/494zfmr ) to install and use the beta version.

Excuse me, I use Czech langvith and video speed badly me. Therefore I describe all situation already again. I think that is for you better.

Tool "Gradient tool" have two choosing "Classic gradient" and "Gradient". When I use "Classic gradient" is all right.

Now I will writte exact how I it make:
1. In tool ledge I choose tool "Eydropper" and choose colour for "Gradient tool".

2. Then I use tool "Gradient tool", photoshop happes new layer with Gradient. Then I join both layers. Till now is all right.

3. When I want to use tool "Gradient" again. And I want to choose colour by the help of "Eydropper". New color is in "Setting colour foreground" in tool ledge but in tool "Gradient" stay ould colour locked up.

4. For repair I have to use command "Renew tool". Then I can to choose colour with tool "Eydropper", but only one times. Then I have to repet tool"Renew tool"

Best regards

Hi @drahomr_1722! Thank you for sharing an explanation of your issue, the best you can. I appreciate the effort. Since we don't have a visual representation of the issue. These suggestions are based on assumptions of what might be happening. Here are a few things you can try:

For the Gradient tool to follow the Eyedropper tool.

-Select the Gradient Tool.

-In the Options Bar at the top, click the arrow next to the gradient preview to open the Gradient Picker.

-Open the "Basics" folder.

-Select the first preset (Foreground to Background) or the second preset (Foreground to Transparent).

-Now, whenever you use the Eyedropper to change your color, the Gradient tool will update automatically because it is "linked" to your swatches.

If you prefer the traditional method of painting directly onto layers without Photoshop creating new Fill Layers, I suggest sticking to the Classic Gradient.

Thanks a bunch!

Hi @drahomr_1722, welcome to the community!
Could you share a bit more about what you mean when you say the layer stays locked to a color? A quick screen recording would really help us understand the issue better and take a closer look.
Thanks so much!
Alek

Thank you, I try to already describe better.

Layer don´t lock but color is locked. When I finishe first Gradient tool and on the end I join layers. Then I need another Gradient tool, I don´t can already change color by the help of tool Eydropper because color is locked from first the using tool Gradient tool.

Hi @drahomr_1722, thanks for going into further detail; however, it would be very helpful to get a screen recording of the issue you're experiencing. Can you also send your system info? You can find your system info by going to Help > System Info, copying and pasting it into a text file, and attaching it here. Thanks! ^CH
