Tool Widow Display Problem

Anticipate there is a simple answer to this problem I just can' t seem to find.  If I have the Info Window (F8) open to monitor and then click a curves adjustment (for example), the curves adjustment window replaces the Info Window.  If I hit F8 to reopen the Info Window it replaces the Curves Adjustment Window.  I know this is not inherently the only way it works.  However, I can't seem to find an alternative setting.  Any insight as to a remedy would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Hey, @RG631971. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll help you figure this out.

The Properties Panel reacts to the selected layer for a cohesive workflow. You can drag the Info panel out and separate it from the Panel groups. You can organize the panels to have another tab of panels, too.

Let me know if this helps. Thanks!

Sameer, Thank you very much for a helpful reply.  As it turns out, I did eventually and inadvertently stumble across the solution you mentioned.  Sometimes I seem to have a hard to following Adobe implementations.  That is not a knock on them, just implementation issues I struggle with at times.
