Topaz Giga Pixel Upscale Error Message

Hi everyone! Can somebody help me with this Topaz Gigapixel issue in Photoshop?

Topaz Gigapixel used to work perfectly fine in my Photoshop, but now it keeps showing an error whenever I try to use it.

Here’s what I’ve already checked and tried:

  • ✅ Checked compatibility — everything seems fine.

  • ✅ Updated my graphics card drivers.

  • ✅ Updated the applications.

  • ✅ Checked my internet connection and storage space.

  • ✅ Tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

  • ✅ Tried logging out and logging back in.

The weird thing is that my friend tried using my account on their PC, and Topaz Gigapixel worked perfectly fine there. However, it still doesn’t work on my PC.

I can’t figure out what’s causing the problem since it works on another computer using the same account.

Has anyone experienced the same issue or knows how to fix it? Could it be a problem with Photoshop, my PC settings, or something else?

I’d really appreciate any help or suggestions. Thank you! 🙏

FYI You have posted this in the Evolution of Photoshop forum.  I have requested that it be moved to the Photoshop forum proper.

    What is the error message?

Is it happening with all image documents?

What is your system spec?  Specifically, what GPU are you using, and how much VRAM does it have?

What size is the image than causes the failure?

How many Generative Credits do you have? (You can check your credits with this icon in the top right corner of the UI

It looks like it does use a lot of credits

If the above is not relevant, then a Preference reset might fix it. Reinstalling doesn’t reset Preferences, so give that a go, and use the manual method.
