Transform Cancel and Commit buttons clipped when “Scale UI To Font” is enabled on macOS

Photoshop version: Photoshop 2026, 27.11.0
macOS version: 26.6.2

Issue
When UI Font Size is set to Medium or Large and “Scale UI To Font” is enabled under Preferences → Interface → Presentation, the Cancel and Commit buttons in the Transform options bar are clipped and not fully visible.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Preferences → Interface → Presentation.
  2. Set UI Font Size to Medium or Large.
  3. Enable “Scale UI To Font”.
  4. Restart Photoshop for the interface changes to take effect.
  5. Open a document, select a layer and enter Free Transform (Cmd+T).
  6. Check the Cancel and Commit buttons in the top options bar.

Actual result
The buttons are clipped rather than displaying fully in the options bar.

Expected result
The options bar should accommodate the scaled interface so that both buttons remain fully visible and accessible.

Workaround
Uncheck “Scale UI To Font” and restart Photoshop. The buttons become fully visible again.

Screenshots attached show the clipped controls, the correctly displayed controls, and the Interface preferences with the workaround applied.

(can’t seem to attach screenshot)

Same here. I’m getting a red “Something went wrong” warning bar when I try uploading a screenshot.

I also see the commit button and other menu buttons clipped when the AI Assisted Editor is enabled.

@Ged_Traynor @gener7 Embedding images in forum posts is currently disabled, as a precaution, following the PHP issues around the world. No doubt it will be re-enabled following further testing.

thanks for the quick response! Yes, can confirm this works as a workaround on both medium and large with Scale UI to Font checked.
