Question

Transform tool --change in functionality??

Hi I guess this happened with the new version but I swear previously to get out of the Transform tool you could just click away from the object you were transforming and it would be done.  It is one of those things where you did it so often you can't remember how you did it but you just know it is not the same.  But now there is a new floating toolbar where you have to click done.  This seems minor and maybe I will eventually get used to it but it is really messing with my productivity of having to move to that tool bar or use the enter key on the keyboard to get out of this tool.  Is there somewhere I can opt out of that function in the settings?   thanks

Indeed, the new "contextual task bar" seems to suspend auto-commit.

Personally I think the contextual task bar is just in the way, so I have disabled it since day one. With it disabled, it works as you expect: click away and it commits.

I removed the "contextual task bar" but it is still having some issues. Like I am trying to select two text boxes (I have not even selected the transform tool) using shift, but it keeps giving me the rotate icon after I click one and won't let me click the other.  Didn't there used to be an arrow (select) tool at the top of the tool bar and not just the move tool?
