Trial Generative Ai Image keeps popping up everytime I open my computer

Question

When I downloaded Photoshop 2026 - it prompted me to test features and loaded this photo to test the Ai - which I did. I then exited out of this test and closed it without saving it. Now, everytime I open my computer, whether or not photoshop is open, this photo pops up. I've exited out of it almost 20 times, and it just keeps popping up. Getting a bit frustrating.

That does sound frustrating, but the good news is this isn’t a generative image “stuck” anywhere. It’s almost certainly macOS restoring a previously open Photoshop document window.

What’s going on, macOS has a feature called “Reopen windows when logging back in.” If Photoshop was open with that trial image when the system last shut down or restarted, macOS will keep reopening that same window every time you start your Mac. If that is the case, then try the steps in this order to resolve it:
• Close that trial image file
• Quit Photoshop normally (Photoshop menu > Quit Photoshop), making sure no documents are open
• Restart your Mac again

Optional extra check (if it still appears)

• Open Photoshop
• Go to Photoshop > Settings > General
• Reset Preferences on quit (This will reset all preferences/ settings you have modified, and you will need to redo them again, so take a backup of settings just in case).
• Quit Photoshop once more
