Trim Command results in program error

Hi @Srishti Bali  - thank you for your reply and here are my responses to your questions:

• As best I can tell, the issue did not start after installing the most recent app or OS update. In fact, after seeing the issue, I noticed that neither the app or OS we're on the latest update, so I did the update for both. But, that did not fix the issue.
• The problem does appear to be specific to a particular file. Upon further investigation, there were two line layers in the problem file that appeared to be causing the issue. When I deleted those layers, the problem resolved. I was able to isolate that those layers were the problem by copying all layers to a new file; in doing so, I noticed that nothing was pasted to the new file. So, then I just started copying each layer on it's own and noticed that most layers did paste successfully. Following this through to each layer I was able to isolate the problem layers.
• The file is saved on an iCloud drive.
• I did try all the steps outlined in the help article you suggested.

• Where is the file saved—on a local drive, an external drive, or a network/server location?
