Question

Trouble printing with border

I can create a border around my image using Select then selecting Edit/stroke and my image gets the required border.

When I click on print my image comes up but without the border?

What can I do please?  Is there anyway I can have the border happen automatically.   I’ve only just started to have this problem, I used to get a border all the time when I clicked on print.

Your assistance would be appreciated thanks

    @graceemily

    One reason this happens is because part of the image (in your case, the border) is outside the printable range of your printer. This may or may not be the case for you.

    Does your printer print to the edge of the page? What are the sizes of your image and the paper you are printing to?

    Hey, @graceemily. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out. Please share a video of this behavior & the system info from Photoshop Help > System info > Copy & paste into a text document > upload & attach here.

    Try this:

    1 - Remove & reinstall the Printer drivers, set it up as a wired & primary Printer for your machine.

    2 - Press & hold the Shift key when you launch Photoshop to skip loading any plugins.
    2 - Go to File > press & hold the Space key > Print to reset Photoshop's print dialogue specifically.

    Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks!
