unable to drag and drop images in Photoshop CS6

I'm running on windows 10 using photoshop CS6 and I cannot drag and drop any image type or files directly into photoshop. I have fixed this by disabling Lua but by doing this it makes other programs not work properly. does anyone know if there is any way to fix the drag and drop system without disabling Lua

So I tried both methods the first one interfered with other apps just like disabling lua did and the second one didnt work at all but thank you they were two things I hadn't tried before
