Unable to use clone tool

I updated to Mac Seqoia and updated my old PS to PS 25, since then there is so much that doesn't work now eg unable to clone, write text etc, when I try to open up a text square, there is Spanish writing in the square, what is happening ?

What happens when you try to use the Clone Stamp Tool?

As far as the Text, that sounds like your seeing placeholder text which is Lipsum.

In Photoshop go to Photoshop 2025>Settings>Type and uncheck Fill new type layers with placeholder text

Is it possible you could post a screenshot of the message your seeing when trying to use the Clone Stamp Tool?

Thanks for the advice, that sorted the type text out, as regards the clone tool,I get a red circle with a line throught it and a message saying photoshop is unable to use this please convert to smaller size (or similar) thank you
