Unable to use Generative Fill to create painting styles on my photos anymore

Hi I'm using  Photoshop 26.10.0 on a an M1 Mac Mini running 14.7.8

I enjoyed playing with some of my photos creating painting like effects and as of May 2025

I enjoyed using this to play with my photography  (I'm Retired and 72 years old)

I was a professional commercial photograper for 50 years!

I'm thinking things changed during the recent updates? I tried to find the answer everywhere !

Instead of the selected painting style using my image to generate the "Fill" I only get a generated image of what type of fill I asked for !

Totally unusable now! 

Can any of you help me? I really enjoyed this feature & Now I'm lost
