Hello,

I'm posting this to ask about this weird red mask that appeared on a file that I opened from Lightroom. I had edited this picture previously, but I nevr applied any mask to it, and it doesn't show in the layers either. Does anyone know anything about this?

Where is the weird red mask? I'm not seeing it...

There is no red mask in the screenshot. The channels just show red information across the bag in the red channel and no blue or green information on the bag. However there is blue and green information in those channels - hence the white background and the perfect shape of the bag outline in each channel. All that matches perfectly layer 1.

I'm guessing it's a glitch. I had worked on the image and saved the file yesterday, and in the preview in Lightroom it didn't look red, it looked normal. When i reopened it today it had this red overlay.

I tried to upload screenshots earlier but it didn't work. It's not the quick mask red ( i checked anyway if i did that by mistake)

@Sarah33764084xjt2 can you post a screenshot of the Photoshop interface with all the pertinent panels opened to highlight the issue

Without seeing a screenshot, I'm guessing that either you are in QuickMask "Q" or you have an alpha channel visible (Channels panel).
