Question

Using PS 26.1.0 I really love the remove tool, as well as generative expand!

My wife and I design books and we often get images of very different qualities and resolutions. One autobiography, in particular, contained some portraits of family members which were severly cropped to the extent that the grandmother was missing one shoulder. Magically, generative expand/fill generated the missing shoulder PERFECTLY based on the extant shoulder!

This is the kind of application of AI that makes sense and is very useful—and rather transparently. It doesn't replace live artits' creations, but enhances the presentation!

Check out Topaz Labs Photo Ai.  It is very good and cleaning up old photos and enhancing faces, and is amazingly good at upscaling images.  If you start with a low res image of decent quality, it can do a 4X upscale with almost no loss of quality.  It's a wee bit on the pricey size, but I use it all the time, which is more than I can say for some of the plugins I paid decent money for.

Boris fx suprised me recently by taking NZ$85 off me for upgrades and support when I had not asked for it, or been asked if I would like it.   I stupidly paid for a set of Particalshop brushes that I already had recently, and Corel keep ignoring my request for a refund!

Thanks for the tip, but, so far, I'm satisfied with Adobe Sensei!
