Using PS with Mac OS Sierra 10 12 1

I can't seem to use PS CS5 with Mac OS Sierra 10 12 1.  Every time I click on a photo it tells me that I need to download the legacy Java SE6 Rundown.  When I do download this it doesn't seem to work.

Make sure you don't just download it, but also run the installer you downloaded. After running the Apple 2015-001 Java installer, Photoshop CS3 and up will work in Sierra...I've tried it. But since those old versions of Photoshop aren't officially supported, they may not work perfectly.

Download Java for OS X 2015-001 is what you want for Sierra.

Photoshop CS5 was supported on Lion and Mountain Lion (Mac OS X v10.5.7 or v10.6): Photoshop system requirements

    It's not supported on Sierra.
