Version Control for Library assets

I am sharing library assets with my team and can not seem to find version control for assets?  Currently I am accessing these files through Creative Cloud desktop app / Your Work / Libraries .  I see these instructions but I am not seeing the version icon.  Are assets inside a library different than if they are in the files tab? Thanx in advance for any input.
