Very odd behavior both on PC and Mac

When I send pictures from Lightroom to Photoshop (all latest updates installed) photoshop opens but it doesn't show the picture. I can only send pictures when I send them as smart objects. However, after editting and on closing the pictures an error pops up. Error 21: undefined is not an object. Line 1 ->

The editted file is saved, but doesn't show up in Lightroom. I have to synchronize the folder, then they show up. The odd thing is that this problem started today on both my PC and the Mac Book Pro M4. Any idea what I can do about this?

re-installing the previous versions (it's in both regular and beta) did solve the problem

I did re-install the previous version and the problem is solved, so it's a bug inside Photoshop.
