Video rendering no longer works since many versions already

For simple clip montages, a little cross-fade, some trimming and final editing, up to a certain "old" version (2017 versions) of Photoshop I had no problems: I would go to render and everything would work. Now, however, as soon as I request rendering it freezes indefinitely and does nothing anymore.
I also asked for official assistance, until I got a kind gentleman from India who used my pc remotely coming to the same conclusions as me and doing all the tests I had already done: It no longer works - certified. Fine.
He said he would report to Adobe, I waited since this version (2023-last). It still doesn't work.

I need it. Nobody seems to care.
I have this subscription and can't do other things so far.
Process Explorer tells me that the process that is using the most resources is Dynamiclinkmediaserver , but it is not using more than 0.1% CPU...
Everything in photoshop crashes/freezes in the "initializing" window and then nothing.

It's so frustrating: I use this for my job... I have to shot perfect videos, since I can't edit them no more with what I bought. But if we shot perfect what would video and photo editing programs for?

System:

Win10/64, ita - updated to whatever was updated today, including graphics card, every driver.
Photoshop ENG (but used to be Italian: no difference), updated to whatever has been produced so far. However NO CHANGE.
MOV files produced by Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, that worked years ago anyway, now it doesn't, format hasn't changed.

Thank you for your concern, I followed the official channels, no danger, I have a background as a sysadmin and helpdesk management, in-person or remote, is quite familiar to me. I wouldn't let the first guy who comes by get his hands on my pc. There is a copy of the remote assistance with CRM number, assistance number ADB- etc. The conversation was by voice, so no phisical recording and no transcription (is there any available? we talked for HOURS).

All the data they had was correct and I myself started the file in the official channels. Every step that would take closer control of my pc was always preceded by requesting and obtaining consent. All correct. Except for not solving the problem, let's say. But at least it made it official that what I said was true. And then nothing more.

I apologize @jane-e for the imprecision in expressing myself, but I don't speak English as a native language; also , since it's been quite some time, I hope you'll forgive if I don't remember the conversation word-for-word. The sense, however, was that it would certainly report internally to the staff most competent by relevance.
I hope I have clarified better and calmed some of the concern.

As an aside, with all due respect to Adobe, but if you're counting all 26000 employees okay; but I don't think that a call center in India or any other state, answering following a mandatory script of questions to check off, is to be considered the same as having talked to internal programmers. Normally all call centers are outside companies that dispose of routine work and "skim" what eventually someone will actually have to take over.

So if that person had also accidentally used those words, I wouldn't have found them too unfair. I talk to a lot of call centers every day and it is never the parent company-they are commissioned work.

I'm curious about your sentence, "He said he would report to Adobe." That doesn't sound like something Adobe Customer Care would say, because they are Adobe.

How did you contact them? Do you have any copies of written exchange so we can confirm that is was really Adobe — or not?

Thank you for the update and sysinfo. Ok, in what version did this work for you? Have you tried rolling back in versions to see if one will work?

A system hang or freeze requiring a computer restart usually means a low level failure such as a driver (bad video card driver, etc), failing hardware (hard disk, video card, etc.) or damaged OS installation.

Have you tried in Creative Cloud to uninstal Ps and then reinstall? Are you able to file a crash report? I will check and see if we have anything for you but that would be a huge help to the team to see where the crash is happening.

Does it work correctly?

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back.

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.
