Way to turn off the new double click to edit text

Is there going to be a way to disable this new feature of double clicking to edit text? Sometimes when I'm moving things around I'll accidentally double click and then it will start editing the text versus moving it. I'd rather have a way to turn this off in preferences so it works like it did before.

    Hi Dabatross,

    As of now there is no way to turn this feature off, I would request you to suggest it as a feature request here: Feature Request/Bug Report Form  so that our engineering team can look into it for future releases.

    This one is frustrating indeed ... i love to use my shortcuts on the keyboard, moving things around in PS, now i'm forced to wait a split second to click again, this new feature is just making us work slower :-(
