Weird lines appearing in photoshop

Hey, there's a problem that's been bothering me for a while. I saved a PSD, closed it and then opened it and there came these weird lines:

Has anyone had this problem before? What did cause this problem?

I was tempted to say GPU related the same as Dan, but the artefacts have saved out to the JPG, so unless you are showing us a screen shot, I am afraid it looks like a corrupt image file.

Are you using a laptop, and if yes, was it on battery power while working on the image?

Did your system crash or power down while saving?

How did you make the image you are showing us?  Was it saved, or grabbed from the screen?

I might have had the same issue.  My glitch turned out to be a Path that I forgot about.  Since Paths appear in their own windows, you can't turn their visibility on and off in layers.

Does it appear on other computers or just yours? It looks like a graphics card display glitch or some type of file corruption.
