I don’t have a favorite shortcut, because I don’t use shortcut for a long time.

I’ve speed up my workflow with the Tony Kuiper’s TK9 plugin (TK9 Plugin for Photoshop) and I’ve create several actions for speed up my workflow.

    My System: Intel i7-8700K - 64GB RAM - NVidia Geforce RTX 3060 - Windows 11 Pro 25H2 -- LR-Classic 15 - Photoshop 27 - Nik Collection 9 - PureRAW 6 - Topaz Photo AI

The one I find most useful is F12 which I have set to make a layer into a Smart Object.  Shift F12 is New Smart Object via Copy.  F11 Rasterize, F10 Trim.

I am also a big fan of Configurator Reloaded, although I have only been using it for a few weeks, and I am still homing in on the best way to use it.  You can have multiple CR panels, which means you can set up a different CR panel for each workspace.  I have CR buttons to select (and reset) workspaces, but I was already using Function keys to trigger tiny Actions.  This means that when I mess up my workspace to create screen shots for forum answers, I can h it F5 and my default workspace is instantly tidied up again.

So, any thing that saves mouse clicks, or even moving the cursor more than I need to.

If you are a photographer, then Camera RAW presets might save you a lot of time.  Plus you can use Image Processor to batch an Action on a folder full of images. There is also batch rename and and batch resize (in Image Processor again).

Context is important in these situations, so you might get a more focused reply if you tell us what you do, and how you mostly use Photoshop?

Most experienced users rely so much on shortcuts it’s impossible to answer. Anything in the menus can be set up with a custom shortcut that you make yourself, if there isn’t one already. Existing shortcuts can be overridden or changed. Tool shortcuts can be changed or added. Almost anything you do often can have a shortcut.

About the only thing you can’t shortcut is actually pushing sliders or control points on screen.

The one I use most beyond the obvious (CTRL+Z etc...), it’s the shortcut I’ve set up - F3 - which turn any layer into a smart object.
