Asks me to save changes to no doc that is open. 3 times (ie 3 docs), does it every time I quit PS

If you have made certain there actually are no unnamed open files what have you done for trouble-shooting so far?

Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:

Double-check that there is no document open. If there is a document open, it will be listed at the very bottom of the Window menu.
