When I use eyedropper tool the numbers don't change

When I use eyedropper tool the color numbers don't change.

The color in the "foreground sample square" is true/ok. But the digits from color tab don't change.

If I change (using hamburger menu) RGB sliders to CMYK or HSB (not important) and come back to RGB then I can see the real color numbers. What is the problem with this "lag"?

P.S. I have already reinstalled the program. Doesn't help. Photoshop v. 25.1.0
