when I use the remove tool sometimes it stops and suddenly it uses all my 128gb of memory

This problem started after acouple updates ago . I just tried uninstalling the beta version , and then installing the latest beta version and still have the same problem . I use the remove tool a lot all the time to restore damaged areas in photos from facebook and from customers where I live . It is the only tool in beta that is causing a problem for me . Being a computer builder and trouble shooter , I have checked my computer . 

I open a damaged photo in PS beta . Select the remove tool . Using my wacom tablet and pen , I drag the pen over one damaged area at a time to highlight the area , then another area , and then another area , etc . Some times it's ok , and then without warning , the area I drag the pen over to highlight the damage stays red , and then I can watch the memory usage go from around 19gb to my max 128gb using the Task Manager - Performance selection ....
