when use 'save for web' DateTaken turn blank

I'm using the 26.1 version and noticed that the JPG files 'Date Taken' is missing now and I don't find the way to return that data (I have JPGs from las August which have it).

I'll be thankful for tips on that.

Save for Web (Legacy) and the newer Export As are designed to remove many/most metadata entries.

 

Using the CLI ExifTool, it would be possible to inject missing metadata back into the JPEG files without having to edit the image data.
