Question

When will Photoshop 26.3 be released to fix all the bugs in 26.2

Adjutment layers in CMYK are all messed up. Some RGB setings are visible in CMYK such as Black & White but don't work, and Curves, Hue/Saturation are all greyed out!

Makes working in CMYK very dificult!

I am not a professional but I think 26.3 is the very worst release ever. I am not sure what bugs were in 26.2 but I can assure you you they have not been fixed.. Simple things no longer work. It's a mess. I hate AI. I so not want it and it is making everything more difficult not less. But my questin was bumped because the attachment jpeg had a swear word in it. God forbid we all need to be polite too.

It was all about how now I cannot drag a masked item over to a new document without a white box visible around the masked item. It's a ton of work to get rid of it and you basically have to bring up the mask in the new document and then remove pixels where the box is visible. Like when you mask the item, it neglects a tiny sliver of pixels around the edge of the frame. But I will never know the answer because I did not preface my question with "Mother May I." Talk about snowflakes.

I may have to just roll back. How far back can I go before I get rid of all this awfulness. I had rolled back on a different laptop and I was told I could no longer use that version. And it will still relentlessly nag me to upgrade. SO WHAT IS THE SOLUTION HERE?

Yes, I am a wee bit perterbed.

I remain on 26.1 and disable automatic upgrade.

My fear is we will be forced to upgrade eventually. And hten what. That is what happened with a much earlier version. Then I had to uninstall photoshop from that laptop because there was no way it was ever going to work.

I just downgraded to 26.1 because of that... Why the hue/saturation layer is not available in CMYK anymore is a complete mystery. I just hope it won't take 10 versions to bring it back.

@jeromea13244388  It is available - just not from the icon at the bottom of the layers panel. Open the adjustment layers panel where it can be accessed and works without issues. This is an acknowledged bug.

Adobe tend not to comment in advance on release dates/content. Those who know are subject to NDA, those who don't would be guessing.
The icon at the bottom of the layers panel has some options greyed out but, in the meantime, those adjustment layers are still available to use from the Adjustments panel.
