I don't know if it exists, but I am looking for a digital pen that I can use to create photomontages in Photoshop on a Macbook.  Does it exist and where can I find it?

Thank you!

This exists in several forms, pick the one that fits your needs and budget.

The oldest kind is a graphics tablet with a stylus that can sense pressure, tilt, and sometimes more. I started using these with my Mac back in the 1990s. They can be wired (USB) or wireless (Bluetooth). An example is the Wacom Intous line, with similar tablets by Huion, XP-Pen, and more.

A newer kind is the same as above but it has a screen on it. So instead of moving your hand on the tablet while looking at the screen (like a mouse), you are drawing directly on a screen as if you were drawing on paper. Examples are the Wacom One and Wacom Cintiq lines. Because they have a screen, these are more expensive. Again, companies like Huion and XP-Pen offer competing screen tablets that can be cheaper.

If you already own an iPad and an Apple Pencil, that can serve as a screen tablet and stylus connected to the Mac. You connect them using the Apple Sidecar feature. If you want the iPad to work more like a tablet without a screen when it’s connected to your Mac, there’s an app called Astropad Slate that can do that, but it’s not quite as nice as using a real tablet.

There is no stylus that works on the screen of the MacBook itself, because Mac laptops don’t have touchscreens.
