why are my prints when photoshop manages colours, the wrong colour

I have been using photoshop for printing my prints for the last year printing to my canon pro 300 and using hahnemuhle german etching paper. suddenly after updating my laptop and photoshop the colours of my prints are extremely exaggerated and incorrect. I have re downloaded all the new drivers for the printer and the icc profiles for the paper however i have woked out the issue lies with photoshop when i select "photoshop manages colours" in the print dialogue box. has anyone else had this issue or know how i can fix this?

in the image ive attached the print on the left is how they used to look and is correct, and the print on the right is how they look now. they are both printed with the same settings and same paper

photoshop version: 26.1.0

mac os 15.1

Open the Photoshop Print dialog. Click "Print Settings". Take a screenshot that shows both, like this. The yellow markings are the settings you need to watch:

@intuitive_Captain4058 Your post reads like a setting has changed in your print process.

D.Fosse touched on, A media / printer ICC profile relies on the user making the exact same selections in Print Settings that the profile creator used.

Why?

Because the media selection and the option for "no color adjustment' (if you see that) both make a large difference to image appearance.

You'll probably see theMacOS Print settings dialog differs a little from the one shown above, if it's working right on a Mac with photoshop the colour matching section should be preselected and greyed out.

Hahnemuehle should have given you the correct settings for the Print Settings dialogue along with the ICC profile download. You may need to seek those out.
