Why did all my work in photoshop turn to grayscale?

I have been researching how to fix this problem but the solutions are not working for me. I tried pressing CMD 2 and changing to rgb color via "Image" "Mode" "RGB Color" but neither of those worked. Then I went to my channels and everything is selected with the eyeball. I do not know what to do. Please help.

    Could you please post a screenshot with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Channels, Options Bar, History, …) visible? 

     

    Once an image is grayscale changing the Image Mode to RGB will not introduce color or restore color that has been removed previously. 

    What kind of image did you actually start with (color mode, bit depth, …), what did you do to it, …? 

    Can you step back in the History or snapshots to before whatever happened happened?

    The thing is that any image that I introduce to photoshop turns into grayscale even with all of these things checked. I closed my photoshop to try and see if reopening it would help but it didn't. Heres another picture with the layers. I started off with a regular image jpeg I think. It was working fine until I made a new tab to make a youtube banner. All of a sudden everything turned into grayscale. Even the work in my other tabs.
