Why does Photoshop round the corners of my Typo?

When I use big and bold fonts (font size bigger than 150) Photoshop keeps rounding the edges. It's only happening in PS, it looks normal in Illustrator or AfterEffects. (see attached image)

I have checked all the Character settings, no FauxFont activated, no layer effect.

Is there a way around? Thank you 🙂

Bit embarassing... FauxFont was activated.

I only checked in the properties panel where it seemed to be turned off.

When I checked the character panel it was actually turned on.
