PLEASE stop changeing because of changing, very very enoing to say the least.

This is one of the reason I might stop my subscibtion!!!!

Please O please put back the PNG file format in the pulldown menu off "Save a Copy"

And when using Save As the popup menu revers to "Save a Copy" so what is going on because PNG is NOT listed in "Save a Copy". See screen shots

Seriously though, the devs did add a feature to work around users trying to create PNG files with incompatible bit depths and colour modes, it's called Export As.

PNG is most certainly listed under Save A Copy:

You're missing a whole bunch of other options as well, so what is the image mode?

@Da Buzz

I've moved your post from Creative Cloud Desktop to the Photoshop forum.

I'm not sure what PNG does not appear in Save a Copy for you, unless maybe the image is in CMYK instead of RGB? Is it all images or just this one?

You can also revert to the previous behavior in Preferences > File Handling > File Saving Options:

  • Enable Legacy Save As
  • Do not append Copy to filename
