Hi,

I am using  Photoshop 20. I dnt understand why my shape's boundary is so pixeleted. its not as crisp as illustrator. Is there any way I can make it smooth?

I knw illustrator is vector and photoshop is raster. But it bothers me that the outline of my shape is so uneven. at least the shape should be smooth.

I am very new to photoshop. Please help me.

Those are image pixels. That's what a raster image is made of, and if you zoom enough in, they become obvious.

With vector data you can zoom as far as you want, and it will still be rendered at full screen resolution. That's because it's not made of pixels, but mathematical formulae.

The main problem here is your expectations. When you work with raster images, you need to always consider the base pixel grid. Always make sure you have enough pixels for the purpose. If the pixel resolution here seems too coarse, you need more pixels. It really is as simple as that.

You have fully hard edges here. A little anti-aliasing when you work will make the edge smoother.

I can't tell the magnification but 1080 px is only 3"/9 cm in size so zooming in that close would make it look "pixelated".
