Why renewal is always more expensive than a new subscription?

When I contacted support, I was advised to cancel the subscription I’ve held for years in order to get a better price, as they claimed there was nothing else they could do. I was extremely disappointed by this approach from Adobe toward a customer; I had always received prompt assistance in the past, but that was not the case this time.

Adobe, like many companies, offers an introductory rate for first time users occasionally. After that, it reverts to the full price.

Adobe, like most organizations these days, does not care about their customers. Users have no value because they apparently have so many users that individuals are easier to ignore, especially since there are so few other options for us. It is what our world is becoming.
