Windows 11 hibernation mode corrupts Photoshop memory
I have found an interesting predicament that occurs when editing photos in Photoshop 2026 (27.0.0) and using hibernation mode on Windows 11.
Windows 11 will corrupt the Photoshop images if you try to do an upscale on a particular image after returning from hibernation. At first this drove me a little crazy but then I decided to shut down Photoshop and do a cold reboot. When I reopened Photoshop the problem was gone so I have to surmise that Using Windows hibernation is compromising Photoshop memory when Photoshop is being restored.
The larger problem I have is that I will normally have as many as a dozen (or more) images open in Photoshop simultaneously. Closing Photoshop and then reopening from a saved list is a time consuming process
