For the image that keeps jumping to the upper left corner

Go to Photoshop 2025 (your version)>Settings>Tools and uncheck Overscroll

For the scans that won't open use Preview and Save As a PDF with CreatePDF/A checked

and then they should open in Photoshop.

Anshui_Saini tried to help me re. what ever I am working on.... 1. keeps flying up or up to L top corner.

He suggested start computer in safe mode.

Was just on phone w. Apple Support = we could not get the computer to go into safe mode (tried a # of ways... nothing worked.

2. I can't get my scans to open. It says Couldnot open (the pdff) because a color was specified using an unsupported color space.

The scans are B&W only. NO color mode selected.

I want my things to open in Photoshop or pdf or jpg BUT instead they open as preview and yes, tried exporting them from the preview into pdf BUT still get the same unsupported color space message.

Mac OS 15.1.1   MacBookPro

Thank you for help!!!!!!!!!

Hi @NTC Ann,

It sounds frustrating to have your workspace jump unexpectedly! Let’s try a few steps to narrow down the cause:

1.  Launch your system in Safe Mode (MacWindows) to see if the issue persists. This will help determine if a third-party app or extension might be causing interference.

2.  Try temporarily unplugging your mouse or keyboard to see if the issue could be related to hardware input.

3.  If the issue continues, please share your system information (e.g., OS version) and the Photoshop version you’re using. A scree recording of the behavior, like the one you mentioned, can also help us identify the issue more effectively.

Let’s figure this out together!

Best,

Anshul Saini
