Hi

Is there a way to inject plain text into a XMP namespace via a plugin created in UXP Developer Environment? I have a textarea, and want to have the text in the text area be saves into the documents XMP metadata when it's saved. Can this be done and how?

@rob art | illustration Yes, this technically can be possible be done using the UXP (Unified Extensibility Platform) API in Photoshop. The uxp module provides access to the Adobe XMP Core and XMP Files libraries, allowing you to read, create, and modify metadata within a document. Maybe this video will give you a better context of creating and running your own plugin. Developing a Photoshop Plugin with UXP #1 https://youtu.be/QP_0VzcFOa4?si=uiFuKPmfLatiBDcY

It would help others in the same position if you were to share in more detail.
